The Saline County Emergency Preparedness Planner completes Emergency Operation Plans for epidemics, pandemics, hazardous material release events, and CBRNE (chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear) events. The SCHD planner conducts routine planning meetings, trainings, and exercises with a collaborative network of healthcare organizations and other Saline County public and private sector emergency response partners. Our goal is to enhance collaboration in Saline County and strengthen Saline County's emergency preparedness capabilities and be better prepared to respond to an emergency event.
